On the evening on Thursday, November 27, 2014 the grounds of ECU came alive in celebration of the School of Communications and Arts graduating students of 2014.
Each year the School comes together to celebrate the occasion by showcasing the works of our graduating students in a series of exhibitions open to the public.
The opening night was a spectacular event titled ‘FLOURISH’ which included a network of pop-up bars, food stalls, live entertainment, projection screens, and of course, some amazing works from the students.
This year - as part of industry project experience - a team of Environmental and Spatial Design students and Graphic Design students, led by Erica Ormsby, planned and executed the graduate exhibition show and it turned out to be a truly memorable one.
Students showcased their works from Visual Arts, Photomedia, Fashion, Writing, Film and Video Screen Academy Broadcasting, Interactive Media & Game Design, 2D & 3D Design throughout a number of exhibitions. It was the perfect opportunity for students to demonstrate what they had been working on throughout their degree to industry members, students, family, friends and the public.
The night was a huge success and plans are already in place to make 2015’s Graduate Show an even bigger and better event.
